The Camera on Sayyida Street

Sami secretly borrows his late grandfather’s camera—his sister Leila’s only tool for a big film competition—and breaks it days before the deadline. With their leaking roof and a scholarship on the line, he races through Cairo’s markets to fix the damage, spends his savings, and finally confesses. Together, the family turns to prayer, a repairman, and an old smartphone to finish the film in time, discovering a different way to keep their trust and tell their story.
