A glimpse inside
At Karachi’s bustling harbour, Rafi secretly reties his friend Kito’s worn boat rope, desperate to be useful. After a storm scrapes the boat and a fine threatens Kito’s madrasa studies, Rafi flees in fear, then returns after his grandmother reminds him of people’s rights and turning back to Allah. Helping an old fisherman brings him right to the damaged boat as the harbour master demands to know who tied the wrong knot. Rafi steps forward, fixes the rope properly, and admits his mistake. The fine is lifted, Kito forgives him for Allah’s sake, and the boys stand side by side, learning the harbour knot together as their boat rests safely against the pier.
